But the primary consideration when buying workout clothes is the comfort that it gives you while you are working out. What you are wearing for your workout will determine how much comfort you have when working out and it will greatly affect how you do your workout as well.
Every type of workout will have appropriate workout apparel for it. The fabric type, the comfort and the fit of the workout clothes are the things you should look for when buying workout clothes for yourself.

if you don’t want sweat to stick to your clothes, then choose a fabric that provides wicking. this type of apparel is able it wick away sweat from your body because it is made of synthetic fiber that does not absorb the sweat. This fabric allows the air to cross through so your feel light and easy.
If you are doing light workouts and you don’t sweat much, then you can choose clothing made of cotton. This is ideal for stretching and walking since cotton is a soft fabric. This is not ideal for heavy workouts where you sweat profusely since the fabric will get heavy with sweat and it will soon cling to your body. You workouts will be distracted by what you are wearing.
If you are doing workouts, your clothing should not get in the way of it. If you use your legs a lot like jogging, cycling, running, you should wear shorts or Capri pants that are not loose or baggy.
If you are not doing exercises with rapid movements, then you can use yoga pants that have good elasticity and this is ideal for stretching exercises, yoga, weightlifting, and others.
You can wear sleeveless shirts or t-shirts for your workouts. Make sure it is not too loose but it supports your body. If you have sleeveless tops, then your body can be kept sweat free. A sleeveless top can still be worn during winter since most gyms are centrally heated.
Seasons change and so should your workout clothes. Sleeveless shirts and shorts or Capri pants are good for summer workouts while sweatshirts or t-shirts with a jacket over it is ideal for winter. During winter your body temperature goes up while you are exercising, so you don’t need to wear very warm clothes.
You should also wear the proper shoes for workouts. If your feet are comfortable, then you can perform a better workout. You shoes must not be too tight so as not to let air pass through and they should perfectly fit your foot and ankle. If your shoes has thin soles, you have the ideal shoes since they don’t let the shoe get heavy due to sweat.
